I have to tell you..in early morning, I love when so many birds and nature is awakened and lively on the go. This morning there were several hawks in the neighborhood. The baby hawk flew to my neighbor's tree a few homes down. So, I was going to put my camera to the test if it could pick up that far. At the same time, I held my focus on the baby hawk regardless of all else going around. I didn't want to lose the baby shot.. Squirrels were going on the same limb and one under and this hawk didn't move. I was more determined to get the shot! There were two big hawks at the same time swirling and playing and I tried one shot, missed them and right back to the baby. So, finally I went inside to see how the camera was picking up on the baby hawk.. so, I hope you enjoy the baby hawk as I surely did.. I made the focus on the baby for you and removed the distractions, it is not completely clear on the photo as I added too much focus..sorry.. from the shot... Have a great day.. :-) So, glad to include you into my prize masterpiece shot... it was actually a cut limb from their tree...lol

this is an awesome shot My nearest neighbor is about 500 mts away so i calculate a few homes down must be at least a kilometer and an half, if not three quarters!!! the fine detail you got at that range is outstanding and is surley more than worthy of at least one competition win!!
you ar so lucky to have a neighbor with a tree also, mine has sheep! and hawks don't sit on sheep for long lol
