Trying to capture this huge whale shark surface feeding and conveying the effect as it sucks up vast volumes of water in the process like a giant vacuum. Amazing to watch and he appears to be watching me as I photograph. These are gentle giant ocean creatures that are aware of your presence and actively manoeuvre carefully and seemingly courteously around you. I had to desaturate the blues in this image to improve sharpness as my wide angle lens is soft around the corners here so I had to compose this photo carefully to get most interesting part in the sharpest area of the lens. Desaturating also brings out the details of its skin.
