Location
This photo is taken at the beach of Tondalingan which is located is Dagupan, Pangasinan, Philippines. Which is in the north part of Luzon.Time
I was in the area for a seminar and after the afternoon seminar, I quickly went to the beach around 5PM which is just a walking distance from where I stay and waited till the sunset.Lighting
The sunset in this area is pretty quick, that’s why I make sure I am in the area early to catch the sun goes down. I wanted to see the water to look calm that’s why I used a ND filter.Equipment
When ever I travel I always brings my Nikon D7000 with with and the 10-20 lens with the help of my ND1000 filter I was able to achieve the photo I want and of course I also used a tripod.Inspiration
I always want to see the colors of nature’s give during the sunset.Editing
This is just a simple color adjustment on Lightroom nothing special in post processing. In my camera bag
I have with my Nikon D7000, 10-20mm, 55mm and the 18-105mm. My flash and slave flash, filters (UV filter and ND1000).Feedback
If you want to capture the sunset you better be early before the sun goes down so you can prepare yourself and your things and you can scout the area you want to shoot. Try a few shots on where you are actually shooting and imagine the sunset in it.
