Location
My love for the outdoors, therefore, capturing these images of God's creation, comes from the time I have spent afield in my hunting pursuits. This particular photo was taken from a tree stand during Central Pennsylvania's whitetail archery season.Time
I climbed my tree stand that morning and when I looked out, this is what I saw! It was shortly after 7:30 a.m.Lighting
The lighting on this photo is unique, I think, because of the early morning mist combined with the rising sun.Equipment
Because my camera equipment was secondary that morning to my hunting gear, all I had with me was my Canon PowerShot, and a few spare batteries. Luckily that particular deer stand had railing that I was able to use for a make shift tripod.Inspiration
My inspiration for this photo, as with all my landscape and wildlife photos, comes from the pure beauty of nature. The things in front of all of us every day, that we simply overlook.Editing
As with most of my photography, I did no editing on this photo. In my camera bag
Because of the rugged terrain in my neck of the woods, I pack very light. My Canon PowerShot, and a few spare batteries in my pocket!Feedback
I would not consider myself one to be able to offer advise on all the technicalities of taking a beautiful picture, as I am an amateur still learning myself. I do know you can't take these photos unless you get out there. Often, it's not what you are looking for, but what you find that make the most inspirational photos.
