Great catch....your redtails are much lighter in color than the California version.

Thanks for the really nice comments on my photos. Sometimes I see the darker version of redtails. I don't know if it has to do with the seasons? Seems I see the darker ones in the winter, but maybe they just stand out more at that time of year. Maybe age? There is a nest right in the back yard. He/she is darker with a brilliant red tail. Thanks again.
