A beautiful Florida Panther in action. Captured at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, Florida.
Bubba and Osceola, a pair of Florida Panthers now at the Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary, were received from another park 100 pounds overweight from lack of exercise. After more than 2 years of fund-raisers and donations a large 75' x 85' habitat was built for them. Since they have been in captivity from early age they cannot be released to the wild.

This one gets it. Excellent.I share your feelings on this. I visited a zoo and was struck by the body language of a gorilla and later a monkey. There seemed to be an air of hopelessness. The pictures looked nice in color, but when they were re-done in black and white, my feelings intensified. Check them out if you like.

Lorenzo first let me say this image is most stunning, every aspect of this image is simply perfection, from the subject, to the background to the details, focus and lighting, brilliant photography. Second let me say I think its GREAT, that you Volunteer, in my eyes there is no better cause than to preserve earths animals!
