Behind The Lens

Location

My backyard in Charleston, SC.

Time

Early afternoon in a hot, summer day.

Lighting

I love natural lighting.

Equipment

Nikon D60, Gold Edition

Inspiration

I was following a few dragonflies, but decided to take a break & sit in the grass. Not a moment later, this dragonfly landed on a blade of grass in front of me with his lunch.

Editing

I did some minor cropping but no editing filter wise.

In my camera bag

I actually just upgraded to a Canon 6D, so I'm really excited to begin my work with that camera once I purchase a few more lenses for it!

Feedback

The great thing I've learned about dragonflies, is that they are curious creatures, so if you find yourself around them, find a place to sit and let them do most of the work. I had several land on me while I was sitting and trying to capture a few shots.
