I think this is one of the most creative images I've ever seen... Cracking! :))

Location
This was taken in Boston during a trolley tour of the city. I was ogling the architecture and at one point, while stopped in traffic, I saw this man sitting on this bench and loved the shapes and colors. So I captured the image.Time
Mid-afternoon.Lighting
I was lucky to be out on a partially cloudy day. At this moment the clouds worked in my favor.Equipment
Nikon D5100 with a 70-200 f/2.8 lens, handheld. Nothing special otherwise.Inspiration
We were on vacation, and the rest of my family had never been to Boston. We were trying to see everything we could, and the urban environment is not what we are used to. I was looking for shots that were different, reflected a large city, and were more than just vacation photos. I am very happy to have discovered this, and wish to thank the gentlemen for choosing to dress well and sit in a suitable spot for my image!Editing
Yes: basics in Lightroom, but I used Photoshop to remove an objectionable pole. I then did some burning and saturation work to add contrast and control the tones of the image. In my camera bag
I carry the Nikon body and my Tamron 28-75 lens, plus either an 85mm or 105mm macro, and a speedlite with remote. The Tamron has been a joy to use for 3 years now. I only carry my 70-200 when I know it will be used.Feedback
The most challenging part of photography is learning to see. Some folks like to compose images by assembling things, but I'm not interested in that. I prefer to capture what I find. I encourage the study of composition, the deconstruction of images that one finds appealing, and training of one's eye to locate interesting compositions in one's surroundings. Past that, explore a subject by spending some time on it, if you can. The great thing about digital is that additional shots are extremely inexpensive.
