Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken about 2 miles from where I live. I was driving home and noticed this fence under construction.

Time

This was shot late afternoon.

Lighting

The overcast skies gave me a nice diffused light without any glare.

Equipment

This was my Canon 7D

Inspiration

I think it was the boards laying in the grass next to the fence made me think of all the lines pointing to the horizon, and then noticing the nice vanishing point on the fence because of the curvature of the landscape.

Editing

Most of the post processioning on this photo was in removing slight blemishes from the white material of the fence, and enhancing the sky.

In my camera bag

I normally travel with my 7D, my 100mm Macro and my 16-35 zoom
