This is an image of the Cirrus Sky as the sun dropped below the horizon with the giant Mesquite tree in the foreground. The upper clouds didn't get as sun blazed as I had hoped. Still the gold at the horizon and the texture of the sky made for a nice backdrop to this Mesquite.

Thanks! I have always spend time (and made time) watching sunsets and sunrises. Combine that with keeping a camera on me almost all the time and sooner or later, these opportunities present themselves. I'm just recording someone else's Masterworks in the Sky.

Thanks Appleyes! I feel so blessed to be living out in the country. It cuts down on my love of great architecture, though with opportunities like these -- totally worth it.
