Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the Farne islands in the UK

Time

it was around 2pm walking along, there were so many Puffins flying around but I concentrated on this one with a mouth full of sand eels, an arctic tern tried to steal its catch causing him to drop the sand eels

Lighting

it was outside but not a particularly bright day a little over cast

Equipment

it was shot on a Nikon camera with 300mm f4 lens

Inspiration

i was out taking photos of all the wonderful birds on the islands

Editing

its been that long i cant remember exactly what I done in the post processing but it is definitely cropped and sharpened

In my camera bag

i never carry a bag because my equipment is so heavy but these days depending if i sm walking or sitting in a hide it would be betWeen a 600mm f4 lens or 300mm f2.8 with 1.4tc

Feedback

shoot shoot shoot you never know what you might capture
