Location
I had been searching around in Thailand for photo opportunities and discovered a temple with a small pond so I set up my tent hide and waited in the heat for birds to come have a drinkTime
It was around 2pm when I captured this shotLighting
The pond was at the rear of a building sheltered with various trees so although the lighting wasn't great it was good enough to capture this beautiful birdEquipment
I used a Nikon D810 and 600mm f4 lensInspiration

I usually use lightroom to crop and alter contrastIn my camera bag
I dont use a bag a 600mm lens is usually heavy enough especially with a tripod tooFeedback
