Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was shot at an abandoned warehouse.
Time
Late day, close to 6p.
Lighting
I use natural light unless flash is absolutely needed. For this specific shot, a canon 430 ex ii was used.
Equipment
Canon 6D and Canon 430 ex ii flash.
Inspiration
Soul Art is the name both myself and my wife shoot under. We love the tattoo culture and the symbolism each individual expresses. This picture was an expression of an artistic story breaking through the fabrics of reality.
Editing
Yes. Photoshop and Lightroom were used to smooth this photo out and add a glow effect.
In my camera bag
Camera, flash, multiple prime lenses, diffusers, extra batteries and a backup camera. The backup and what is used for street photography is an Olympus om-d e-m5.
Feedback
When shooting think of what's in front if you as what you want the final outcome to be. Visualize each final print. Too much or not enough light/shadow, how will this shot be cropped, what am I trying to express? Know your camera settings. Each shot is a representation of you and your style so plan well.
