Location
This shot was taken at Tanfield Railway station on one of their open evenings for photographers.Time
This was shot at around 7pm as it was starting to get dark and moody in the engine shed.Lighting
Only available light was used to get this shot.Equipment
Image was shot on my Canon 5d mk3, and a manfrotto tripod was used to be able to get a long exposure shot.Inspiration
I've never been to one of these evenings before, but after viewing the images from the Tanfield Facebook page, I really wanted to give it a try.Editing
I made the shot a bit grungier looking in photoshop, combining multiple layers and blending them to get the desired look.In my camera bag
I always have my 5d mk3, 85mm prime, 70-200zoom and my 24-105mm, along with spare batteries, memory cards and on this occasion my tripod.Feedback
Main thing is to just go and try!! I would never of this shot normally as this type of photography isn't in my comfort zone, but go out and push yourself. You will never know what you can achieve unless you go out and try.
