Behind The Lens
Location
The photograph was taken at a local quarry. That's as much as I can say!Time
The shot was taken during an evening ride. After a hard day at work the rider couldn't wait to blast the down hill section of the quarry.Lighting
I had been taking shots of the rider racing on the downhill section. We were discussing which area he was going to ride next and decided to ride along the edge of the quarry. This was when I realised the suns position gave a great silhouette effect. As the rider walked rider along the ridge to look at the next section I took a few shots.Equipment
The photos are taken using my trusty Sony Alpha 35Inspiration
As he pushed the bike along the ridge the silhouette effect was so strong the shot had to be taken.Editing
I would rather spend time shooting than editing and so my photos have minimal editing. In my camera bag

Just shoot If you only take 1 shot you only have 1 chance of a great photo. If you take 50 shots you have 50 chances. Also remember that photography is capturing light so also watch the sun and affects that it is creating.
