I took this photo in Lincolnshire, England.

The time was Mid-Afternoon.

Lighting

At the time it was quite dull and overcast due to the winter low light.

Equipment

I took this image with the `Fuji HS30EXR` camera. Hand held.

Inspiration

I took this shot to try capture the beauty and glory of the winter scene.

Editing

I wanted to create something a little different in this picture to just a normal `Snow scene`, so as well as adjusting clarity and sharpness (in this case reducing the sharpness). I also added a little blue tint and various effects to give an enchanted and peaceful kind of `Christmas card` picture effect and feel.

In my camera bag

I usually carry a simple snap shot camera along with a bridge camera and various lenses.

Feedback

Be aware that in winter conditions, sunlight can reflect a glare from the snow on the ground which can prove difficult when adjusting light settings.
