Location
This picture was taken in North Wales, UK.Time
The picture itself was taken Mid-afternoon.Lighting
The lighting in this shot is not all it appears to be, it was actually quite bright sunlight when taken although this image appears to show different.Equipment
I used the `Fuji HS30EXR` camera to take this shot, hand held.Inspiration
I was inspired to take this image by the structure of the trees.Editing
This shot was actually taken during the day when it was quite bright light. So to create a completely different type of appearance I added clarity and a strong colour of blue. Then reduced the light to give a darkness appearance. To finish off I added a night time sky effect, ie the appearance of stars and illuminated cloudy night sky. This gave an overall finished image of a night time scene in the woods when it was in fact taken in the daytime. On another photography site this picture actually reached number one in the `Top Rated` section, put there by other members. So all in all a pleasing result for me.In my camera bag
I usually carry a simple snap shot camera along with a bridge camera and a variety of filter lenses.Feedback
When taking shots within fairly dark surrounding but looking up to the sky, be sure to adjust the light and shutter speed etc correctly to avoid an image resulting in being too dark or too light, which in turn can also cause the image to look blurred or washed out.
