Many horses in professional industries such as racing end their careers by the time they are 3 or 4 years old due to injuries, wear and tear on young joints and making it past their "PRIME". In this pasture one horse has on boots to help support the hoof due to a disease where the hoof wall begins to separate and a bone begins to turn. This can be deadly and devastating. The other horse is a retired racehorse that a few years ago may have been destined for the glue factory.
Today they are FRIENDS AT PEACE living out their lives together on a slice of heaven in the rolling bluegrass of Kentucky. What more could one hope for?
