Thank you, I was lucky enough to be in the smokey mountains in Oct which is absolutely breath taking. The buildings are mountain homesteads of old settlers. Thank you for looking and commenting!

What an amazing scene ! ! ! The POV with the high forest full in the background. The old stone fireplace in the back structure is amazing. Could that be a smokehouse ? FAVORITED & PEER RECOGNIZED ! ! !

Awww yes the Great Smokey Mountains full of beautiful foliage and history. Thanks so much. Many do not like my choice of using a portrait style shot for landscaping but no doubt I wanted to add the beautiful trees in the background. Thanks so much for the sweet comment!

what a gr8 exposure - any more light and the subtlety of the muted colors may well have been lost - the obvious textures are nicely provided by both the siding and the shingled roofs - & to top it off you chose a very appropriate point of view to shape this image - good job as usual

No doubt I would have preferred a shot from the front but it doesn't seem vacationers to the smokey mountains understand that and want to move. Needless to say then I was extremely happy to see that this shot didn't bother me feeling like I'm missing out on something. I shot this 2 stop to low knowing I could bring the lighting up in post processing just enough without loosing details or colors. I always shoot with the knowledge of post processing in the back of my mind. Thank you so much this one I figured would be right up your ally in color and style. =D
