Location
Alvin was captured at the edge of my property in Northeastern Ohio. Chipmunks are troublesome little creatures that will freeze in a position when it is exposed and in the open. I was working on a class project and looking for something unusual and came across Alvin sitting on a large limb about 3 feet off the ground. I took a couple of shots and moved on thinking nothing about the photos until looking at them again sometime later. I usually don't do a lot of editing on my photos even though I have the equipment to edit them, what happens on my photos is my lack of really caring what I can do with then. Don't get me wrong I love to look at beautiful well composed shots but what happens to me is that I travel to many different places and take so many pictures I start going through them and get lost in the travel adventure, again reliving the moments and to me that is photography. I remember exactly where this was taken and although the large limb has been removed I still see Alvin when I walk by and just smile.Time

Lighting was natural with a partly cloudy sky. This was under a canopy of trees which helped give it that golden hour look.Equipment

Take a walk in the woods, a park and just be observant of the wild life that is around you. Early morning is always the best.
