Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on a trip to Cathedral Cove. We were travelling around Coromandel Pennisula in New Zealand and decided to seek out the famous beautiful beaches. I had seen it in movies and on TV but it is more stunning in real life.

Time

Think it was an afternoon in April.

Lighting

I think the shadows increase the mystery and beauty.

Equipment

I used a Canon Ixus 145. Usually I have my SLR on me but didn't for this trip. Couldn't miss this beauty though.

Inspiration

I love seascapes, New Zealand and landscape photography.

Editing

Don't think I did much. I usually do a bit if needed. I like more raw pictures.

In my camera bag

My Nikon D300 and various lenses.

Feedback
