Behind The Lens

Location
Half Moon Bay Dog Park in California.
Time
Around mid morning.
Lighting
There was no natural lighting on this day. Typical foggy day in San Francisco. I had to create light in other ways.
Equipment
Sony HX200V. No tripod, no flash.
Inspiration
Could see a great angle and a super cute dog coming towards me.
Editing
Created a little light and contrast in Lightroom. Moved over to Photoshop, blurred my background and turned a boring background into a colorful one.
In my camera bag
Just my Sony.
Feedback
Carry your camera with you everywhere. I shoot a lot in order to capture a dogs personality. For me, it's all about the eyes. Dogs are always moving so it takes some persistence on my behalf. That's key though, keep shooting until you get the shot. Most days are good shooting days with dogs around but not every day is a great day.
