I love how the barbed wire fence takes your eye through the whole photo. Nicely done!

The tope of this picture has the illusion of wave setting. Lovely.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken just off of highway 136 in Lone Pine Ca on the way to Death Valley.

Time

Bright and early in the morning the sun had just risen behind me taking a little bit of the chill out of the air on that beautiful but chilly December morning.

Lighting

Morning light and evening light (the golden hours) are the best!

Equipment

I used my "boat anchor" that's what my husband calls my Canon 5D Mark ll, with a Tamron 28-300 lens

Inspiration

The sky had perfect clouds and the mountains had the warm glow of the morning sun on their snowy peaks... It took my breath away!

Editing

None

In my camera bag

I normally have my Canon 5D Mark ll and my Tamron Lense

Feedback

The earlier the better sunrises are subtle. Make sure your subject is to the west. Get down low to make the foreground interesting and don't be afraid of clouds, they give photos personality. Shoot away!!!!!
