Behind The Lens

Location

on the grass verge in North Street, Port Alfred, Eastern Cape, South Africa

Time

it was after church so about 11am in the morning,

Lighting

on the shadow side of the street, so i had to use the available light. i dont think i used flash.

Equipment

Pentax K-30 with zoom extended to 135mm using macro mode.

Inspiration

the creation of dew is awesome, phenomenal, and there was a lot around, that morning, so i took me chance and shot about 50 images of different blades of grass with dew. Every shot is an experiment to capture what is in the minds eye. i was inspired that morning..

Editing

i use SilkyPix which came with my Pentax camera for cropping, and enhancing the focus and exposure.

In my camera bag

Pentax K-30 body with a 18-135mm zoom lens, as well as a 55mm Super Takumar manual Macro lens, 2 spare data cards and two spare batteries

Feedback

Use your imagination, explore your subject, and take your time. Lie flat on the road if you have to .... The viewpoint counts!
