Nice capture! They remind me of a cross between a moose, a horse and something I don't even know, lol.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a private game reserve on the kariega River in Kenton-on-Sea (between East London and Port Elizabeth) in the eastern Cape, South Africa

Time

Taken about 10:00 am in the morning

Lighting

The lighting was by chance, a sunny morning

Equipment

Pentax K-30 digital camera armed with a 18 - 135mm automatic zoom lens

Inspiration

i was visting this reserve doing a furniture delivery, to a customer resident in the reserve, when upon leaving, was confronted by these beautiful animals. i took a couple of chance shots while they moved around and grouped themselves.

Editing

Very little post-processing except cropping to get a good composition.

In my camera bag

my Pentax K-30 with 18-135mm Zoom attached, couple of spare batteries, and a spare data card

Feedback

Nature photography is to be a the right spot at the right time, and set the camera accordingly.
