Location
This photo was taken at the Wild Horse Sanctuary in South Dakota.Time
It was taken right around noon time.Lighting
No special lighting was used. Lighting was provided by mother natural out on the preserve.Equipment
No special equipment was used. I had my Canon EOS50D and my 100-300 lens.Inspiration
Love of horses. This sanctuary was specifically selected because here the mustangs are permitted to run free over hundreds of acres.Editing
I am not a fan of photoshop altering. The most I ever really do it perhaps sharpen it a bit, maybe enlighten the color slightly and then crop to fit my needs. In my camera bag
I'm a self taught photographer - if I can dare call myself that. I carry the basics, camera, a lens or two, extra disks to save the photos and of course an extra battery.Feedback
As I said, I am a self taught "photographer". I depend on my eye and what appeals to me and I truly use just the basics. Take lots of photos of the same object. One should come out to your liking.
