Location
This photo was taken near The outskirts of NebraskaTime
This was around 6pm when we got through meeting the great Jake Olson face to face.Lighting
Well what can I say. This was one opportunity that you cannot miss. Once you see it you have to do it quick and make sure to not over expose the sky to get every detail.Equipment
I used the Canon 5D Mark II with the 70-300mm house and shot this in a moving car.Inspiration
Well I am always keeping a lookout when we go to new places and if it looks like itle make me work hard for the shot then it's a must shoot. The lighting and the house looked so unreal and it made me take out the camera and lower down the window to capture many frames of it because I only had one chance and this one took my heart.Editing
I dodged and burned the sky and the house. Saturated 10 percent of the image and bam.In my camera bag
Now I only carry the Nikon D800 with two lenses (80-200mm 2.8, 135mm 2.8). I can't leave my house without them:Feedback
Honestly always have the camera gear with you and start heading out to places where it's known to have a plain field and old barns then but always check the weather channel for a cloudy day or a rainy one for when the sun goes down the magic happens
