Storm clouds make their presence known, fascinating and picturesque as they are many people in this area know to move their vehicles under cover as signs of extremely large hail and high winds, become a probability with clouds such as these. A tornado or two is also a possibility but as the sun goes down the storms can loose some of their energy and strength.

These are called Mammatus or Udder Clouds..They form in sinking air where most clouds form in rising air. They are beautiful and I have never seen one until I captured one after a very bad thunderstorm last month. Beautiful capture!

Thank you! Yes I know all about them. We get these so often that they are taken for granted! I am a storm chaser so I never do!
