These eerie Pinnacles, are weathered rock spires, thought to be some ANCIENT FOREST, some up to three and half metres high tapering off to points in some cases and others rounded, resembling crumbling tomb stones and scattered in their thousands in a true desert landscape, rising out of the yellow sand dunes which border on the deep blue Indian Ocean near the coastal town of Cervantes, a 3 hour drive north of Perth....You can drive or walk through the ANCIENT LIMESTONE PILLARS made up of shells and date back millions of years.

Interesting place. Looks like this would be a tough shot to get so that the pinnacles didn't just blend into the sand--instead you've captured a sense of dimensionality, especially in the foreground.

Oops, meant to ask if you had looked at this with black framing rather than the white--I think the black surrounding the photo enhances it.
