As man changes more and more of the habitat, mother nature must adapt. This is a photo of my beloved beaver pond that I do alot of my photography at. As you look at the top of the photo, there are cars at the top of the embankment. The beavers, herons, kingfishers, river otters and other critters have adjusted to the drone of the cars going by yet are able to discern the sound of a twig snapping indicating possible danger.
