This little girl was sitting on the Botswana side of the Zambezi River waiting with her mother to cross the ferry into Zambia. It was very hot and there was very little shade and that was taken. The wait could sometimes be hours since as far as I know it's the only public way between the 2 countries.

Beautiful shot of a beautiful girl. Botswana's the world largest producer of diamonds. It's one of the richest countries in Africa. But HIV/AIDS is prevalent.
