Nice capture. I love B&W with tone balance and clarity. This shot looks to be HDR; it's so crisp. As for the modal; she really looks erotic in this shot. and, it's well lit. Great shot.

a unique and atypical approach to a portrait that places this image in its own special catagory of excellence. a masterpiece.

Location
The photo was taken in a park called "Rosenhoehe" in Darmstadt, Germany.Time
It was taken somewhere in the early evening (maybe around 6 o'clock)Lighting
The lightiung is completely available light. No flashes or reflectors used.Equipment
I've used the Sony A77 with the Sony 50 1.8 lens at f2.5.Inspiration
There was actually no real inspiration for this one. We had a shooting and wandered aorund the park looking for the next spot and then my eyes fell on this few trees growing very near to each other. The light at that time seemed interesting and so I placed the model in the middle between two of those trees and then we took the shot. Didn't knew exactly if it would turn out good, but loved the result afterwards :)Editing
The usual retouching (skin retouching, dodge&burn) and of course the b/w conversion. I've also added a dark vignette and cutted some of the blacks on purpose via curves (and then playing around with the "remaining curve to enhance contrast). I've added also some small and fine grain (I love grain <3 )In my camera bag
Sony A77 and 50 1.8 and Sony 85 2.8 was my "always with me" combination on outdoor shootings. now it's the Sony A7 with still the Sony 85 2.8 and the Zeiss 55 1.8.Feedback
Just look for trees or large bushes with deep hanging leaves or conifers. Wait for morning or evening sun (you should do that anyway for outdoor shots) and try it. The electronic viewfinder really helps on those kind of shots to get a really good preview of how the shadows fall and to play with that. :)
