The photo was taken at evening at a friend of mine who built by himself a very nice large aquarium.Time
It was an evening to remember, because I enjoyed very much that particular time spent with my friend and the show performed by the cat around aquarium while looking for a way in.Lighting
Generally I liked it all natural and I was lucky that the aquarium’s lights were strong enough to capture the whole scene.Equipment
This was shot with a Nikon D90 with a 18-200 mm lens.Inspiration
A friend of mine invited me to see his newly built aquarium. Being a cat owner, I knew that my pet will be somehow attracted to the aquarium fish and I took it with me. What I didn’t expect, was the intensity off the attraction for the colorfully fish and the great funny faces that he did while stalking them through the aquarium glass. Then the idea came to me spontaneously and I started to shoot. I had no tripod, no fancy glasses, neither a speedIight, just an old DSLR who did his job very well.Editing
I usually do only minor / light post processing like, contrast and brightness tweaks. On this particular picture I think I only enhance a little bit of contrast. In my camera bag
I like to travel light and I have only a Nikon DSLR and an all around lens who can cover from 18 up to 200 mm area.Feedback
I think it’s important to be open and alert about your environment, about the being around us, their actions and interests.
