Definitely a better place than Tawharanui regional park, last time i was at Tawharanui i thought how darker and clearer can it be than what i saw that night, it's a lot better at Pakiri, New Zealand. The Sky is darker and luckly last night was clear all the way, except for a few clouds passing by right by the center of the Milkyway. Spend few hours around the beach and took some really amazing shots.

As you can see in this image there was a crazy amount of airglow happening, not sure why that was but i wasn't the only one to capture all that crazy glow, but it does add up to the image. Also been working on processing skills, so this is an image processed in LR and later processed with averaged 4 Darks in PS.
