another image from my startrails experiemnt. This is a 37 image startrail, stacked using simulated zoom to create this explosion effect. Unlike my last post, this does not have a vortex effect as it is not looking towards south pole, where you would have stars going around the center. This is looking towards west and in the image is orion setting. This set of images were taken when we were waiting for a humungous cloud to clear so that we can shoot the milkyway.

each frame was taken at 18mm, 20s, ISO 3200, f3.5 using Nikon D5100.

Simulated zoom effect was done using "Panolapse" , stacked in "starstax", processing and masking in Photoshop CC.

i left an original frame in the layer to have a starry sky look.
