Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken while sitting in the passengers seat of my car. We were driving out of our home town of Bellingen, NSW, Australia. It was an early foggy morning and the trees made beautiful silhouettes.

Time

Early in the morning, I think around 6.30.

Lighting

All natural lighting, at dawn.

Equipment

Just my android phone.

Inspiration

I love driving through my town early in the morning, we have really old historic buildings and are surrounded by mountains. The fog hangs in the air while people go about their morning walks and the cows laze in their paddocks. It is always beautiful and peaceful.

Editing

I think I increased the saturation.

In my camera bag

I would love to own more photography equipment, I own an old SLR manual camera from when I did photography in high school but it doesn't work any more. These days I just take photos on my phone. One day I will invest in some more serious equipment.

Feedback

Taking photos early in the morning or late in the afternoon creates lovely light and shadows.
