i took this photo a very early hour in the morning, in my house in Italy. I've been living in Naples during three years.Time
was very early that day, due to a heavy storm, i woke up i went to hte garden to see if there was something damaged by the so strong noise that i heard i few moments ago and during the check i saw the flower so alone in the dark that i back to the house to get my camera and took the picture.Lighting
i know that is incredible but i didnt do nothing, i only change the contrast in the basics parameters and nothing more, the light was the diferent thing that morning in the garden, like if a unique sunbeam was for the flower.Equipment
i didnt use any other light than the natural light of the sunshine. My camera is the CANON SX50HSInspiration
I think that the light in that moment was so special that i ran a lot to get my camera as soon as posible and take the photo to never forget it.Editing
only i change the contrast in the basic settings, i hate to change the natural moments of my photos, i never use the photoshop or anoher similar program.In my camera bag
i have three cameras, the old one, a HP PHOTOSMART R507, only with 4.1 mp but with an splendid macro option and PENTAX lens, i bought in 2005. My second one is the CANON POWERSHOT D10 an special camera that my wife gave me. It is very good in all the conditions and i use for macro, for landscapes etc etc. but specially for underwater, because i travel a lot and it is very usefull. My last camera is the CANON POWERSHOT SX50HS the powerfull camera for a person like me not a professional but a passionate about photo that dont want to spend money in lenses, and change it all the time. It is very good in macro, and so usefull in nature photos with the zoom, and it a semiprofessional, due to the manual modes and scenes that you can choose in the dial.Feedback
i thing that i MUST TO use the tripode more, i must to use in this kind of photos, i recomend to get always a tripode, a little or a big one but always have the little one very near of the camera for this "urgent" situations. Due to this photo i started to carry on the bag a little flashlight. A very perfec light for me it is my bike's light, one red, the back light, and the front or white light, are very small but the light is it very good and you can put in every place you want.
