Drop it Lucy

A few days ago, I decided to remake the chicken coup. So, I put wooden stakes in ground, and wrapped the area with pink string, for better viewing of the area. I left the extra string which was warpped around a wooden board, at the end of chicken run. Yesterday afternoon, I noticed Lucy walking from the chicken pen area. She looked very sneaky in her gate. AS she neared me, I saw she had in her mouth, the board with string still attached. As she walked through the woods, the string unravled, and it is everywhere! Through the trees, underneath the palmetto branches, and up the path ..We think Lucy was marking her own area of chicken pen! Gotta love this dog.
