Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken in Tallinn. Estonian capital is an excellent playground for all those who'd like to experiment with the photography of architecture as it is a wonderful mixture of modernity and history.Time
It was a cold evening decorated by the setting sun and picturesque clouds.Lighting
Estonia, "almost Nordic" country, with its short days during winter and spring and its closeness to the sea is often covered by clouds and depressive due to a generally gloomy atmosphere. Every small ray of light is priceless and hunting for it takes more time than actual photography.Equipment
Sony NEX 5n, 16mm lens (f2.8), no tripod, no flash.Inspiration
Tallinn itself.Editing
I cropped the picture to a square frame in order to enhance visibility of chosen details plus decided to go with cross processing which build the 'feeling' of that particular moment. In my camera bag
Always the same for the past 3 years: Sony NEX 5N + 16mm lens.Feedback
Know your lens by heart and look up as often as possible!
