These are one of three species of cavy. Guinea Pigs, Capybara and these guys, the Mara, or Patagonian Hare. I think they look like a mixture between guinea pigs and rabbits. Some enterprising Photoshop Artist should take a set of antelope horns and match them up -- voila! Jackalope!
