Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the canyon of Urique, in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Time

Was arround 19:00 but I'm not sure. Because I don't use programs to manipulate my photo I was taking pictures with different apertures and time setting so, I lost the conception of time.

Lighting

I wanted share the wonderful light I saw there. The sky was so blue, with the perfect round moon coming up and the tops of the mountains still red from the last sun light of the day.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D800 with a 16-85mm f3.5-5.6 and a tripod.

Inspiration

I was moving in the town you can see at the bottom of the canyon and I saw this wondeful landscapes so, next day I went back on the road that from the top of the mountain bring you at the bottom of the canyon and I start to wait for the perfect light.

Editing

No, I don't like to use post-processing programs. I prefer take photos with my camera and not with my laptop.

In my camera bag

Nikon D800 with a 16-85mm for landscapes and traveling photos, a 300mm f2.8 and a 2X teleconverter for wildlife photography and a tripod.

Feedback

Whatch around and try to image the place where you are in a different light. It may be not so nice in sunny day, but maybe under the moon or during the blue hour it can be an amazing photo to take.
