Location

Troon, small town on the West coast of Scotland. My hometown.

Time

Around 1pm

Lighting

It was a dark, cloudy grey day.

Equipment

Nikon D3200, 35mm Nikon lens, handheld.

Inspiration

It had been very stormy recently and I always love water and movement and seeing the waves crash.

Editing

This was my first attempt at an HDR shot. I was actually trying to make it look a bit surreal, almost like a painting.

In my camera bag

Camera, gorillapod, spare battery, all lenses, filters, wipes, head torch. Also carry Manfrotto full sized tripod in car.

Feedback

Just get out and explore new places. Extremes of weather are always good but do take care. Look for lost of action / movement.
