All I got was this T shirt

Circa 1982, Armadillo races were big in Texas, filtered down to Florida, I happened upon the event in Orlando. Before I knew it, I was wearing this T shirt, and holding my very own Armidillo. Ready to win the race, we all waited for the whistle to sound, then we put our dillo down, and waited for him to run to the finish line. WE could not touch animal to hurry it along, instead, we had to blow on its hind quarters, and pound the ground . It was a silly time, even filmed for an entertainment tonight tv show. I would boycot these events now, but, as a young and rowdy girl, hm, it was a fun afternoon. Besides, I got to keep the T shirt, and the memory.
