Each year after the wet season, this road from civilization to the tip of Cape York has to be graded again to maintain the access to this wilderness area, tho along with time, there are more bitumen sections appearing, so who knows, one day it may be bitumened right to the top....for many month of the year this creek is dry, but when the rains come, it's a raging torrent.
