In preparation for the total eclipse, I shot this timelapse composite overlooking Richmond, VA, from Jefferson Park. It was shot over 5 hours at 1-minute intervals until sunset, which resulted in what looks like a beam of light at the moment that it is about to annihilate the city. Fortunately, no destruction actually happened this day!
