The old church in Cuervo, New Mexico. Cuervo once hung to life thanks to the railroad and the Mother Road, Route 66. Interstate 40 basically severed the town, and it's lifeline. Though there are about 5 dozen residents, there is no Post Office casting Cuervo into "unincorporated" status.
