With a big snowstorm approaching I didn't think that there would be much of a sunrise. The satellite showed complete clouds overhead. But, when I Iooked out the window I could see a faint glow coming off to the East South East and I thought to myself, "red sky in morning sailors take warning" and off I went to a spot that I love but is generally not a great sunrise location. This was the gift that I got for going. It started to snow just as I was on my way home.
