Around sunrise one morning I took my dslr with my macro lens to the bayou across the street from my home. The plants along the banks of the bayou were allowed to grow naturally, unmown, in the spring time, so these long grasses with the grains at the ends were abundant, and a favorite landing place for damselflies like this female familiar bluet.
