This is, obviously, the moon in the late phase of visibility. I caught this Crescent Moon just post sunset (an eclipse was about four days away somewhere) as it was also setting with the limbs of a large pecan tree nearby.

You can see the highlight of glow around the moon as well as the sickle sized line of bright crescent.
