Every year I participate in many non profit organizations. In November; it's "Movember".

A month where Men grow out moustaches to raise awareness for health issues that men "face". So I each year I take a different selfie with a different look. Here, I look a bit mean, but talk with me and find out that I'm anything but.

Men are dying on average 4.5 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons.

A growing number of men – around 10.8M globally – are facing life with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men. And across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 69% of all suicides.

As someone with tremendous health issues as well as a history of major depression and suicide; this is a cause close to my heart.

I was hospitalized a lot this November into December, so I raised next to nothing, but I never quit. This is a self portrait of what I grew out in participation and solidarity.
